The project is taking a group of 30 members of the Black History Club across the states of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama; taking stops at The George Washington Carver Museum, The Legacy Museum, Mississippi Civil Rights Museum, Tangipahoa African American Heritage Museum and the Whitney Plantation. Students will take the study of history to a new level by exploring these museums that focused on the experiences of African American. Through out the tour students will learn the stories, analysis the presentations of these stories, and envision how we can grow in our effectiveness in sharing these stories to there peers.

About my class
