I believe that the best way to learn science is by doing science. Unfortunately, many students at our urban school, through no fault of their own, have had little or no exposure to classroom activities or field trips to locations that would allow them to experience actual science. I try to help, but it is difficult to create engaging Biology labs or Human Biology activities with a shoestring budget, limited resources, and dated supplies. I'd like to do more to ensure that students leave my classroom in June knowing what science really is, and I'm hoping that you will are willing to help!
