Currently, students read their reports on their school issued devices and a few outdated tablets. While this system saves paper, it does not make for a very natural looking or sounding broadcast. Students often struggle making eye contact with the camera because they are looking down at a screen or fumbling with a computer. Additionally, the tablets that we currently use are too old to run necessary applications. Your donation will help fund a teleprompter system that will help our students produce a more professional broadcast for our school and larger community. This system will allow students to deliver their reports and announcements while simply looking straight ahead at the camera. The new Samsung tablets will also replace the outdated ones, helping to ensure that our students have the right tools they will need to stay on the air!
