Our Elementary School is a Title I school consisting of students who receive free breakfast, lunch and for after school program dinner too. Grade levels are Pre-K to 6. Our school is at maximum capacity with a total student body of approximately 800 students located in a low income area of Northern Nevada. Most students are English Language Learners who have very little life experiences. Educators at our school utilize a variety of resources to provide students with real world experiences through all of their senses. Hands on approach offers students the opportunity to explore through their learning rather than watch and observe the instructor. My classroom environment consists on average of 27 students. My students are mostly at grade level or above grade level. They are very curious about the world and are attempting to be able to explain themselves through their writing.
