I am currently using sheets of paper, a cell phone drawing app, and Photoshop to make it as closer to a brick and mortar experience as possible. Remote learning is hard for students, but it also is difficult getting things to help teachers without us getting reimbursed! I have reached a point in which I have narrowed down some of the most essential remaining needs in order to speed up classroom instruction. The items will be used to enhance the student's immersion in the virtual classroom. Two of the bigger items are tech needs, a document camera, a staple in a classroom, so I can display objects on the screen to the kids during instruction. The other being a device that would allow me to use programs like Photoshop to open images, mark them up, and make notes for the students to see easier. I use paint programs to do math problems and take apart words and this is a slow process with a mouse. A large whiteboard will allow me to draw and keep portions of the lessons always visible and will work as quick turn around work while working in small learning groups. The small chalkboard I have is just too small and hard for the kids to read.
