My project is to start developing content units in digital book format, and utilize Google classroom as a digital learning platform. My students need a set of five Chromebooks. For each unit, students will rotate through the computer stations in groups of 4 or 5 (depending on hardware availability). Besides completing regular classwork, students will demonstrate understanding and retention of content through processing the information and then producing digital portfolio assignments in “Prezi” or “Microsoft Sway”. I will continue using DonorsChoose until I get a classroom set of Chromebooks and have all my students on the same task simultaneously. My eventual goal is to implement a combination of traditional and online classroom instruction.
