This classroom is a middle school classroom in a suburb of a major city. Many students have families that have access to technology. The school has a sizable population of English Language Learners. Many of these students do not have access to technology or rely on public library hours to complete assignments. This isn't always possible because many of their parents are working more than one job and cannot transport them to the library to complete their work. The English Language Learners in this school work hard but, because they don't have access to technology, they do not get equitable learning experiences.
