Technology in the classroom is essential to engaging students. With a tool such as this printer, students will be able to see their creations “come to life”! After studying various geometry skills, they could apply those skills and their drawings can go from flat graph paper to 3D as something that they can hold in their hands. Upon completion, each student would have a scale model of the designed hole of a golf course, and it would give them a feel for what product designers do on a daily basis. Exposure to this tool could help them become an expert designer in their future career.

About my class
