I teach 66 5th and 6th grade math students in a rural community high in the southern Rockies. The poverty level is very high and the average student is over 2 years behind in math. However, I am committed to closing the achievement gap and giving my students the benefits that come from being proficient in math. To make this promise a reality I have launched an ambitious technology-based curriculum that gives each child access to math materials at their level. Initial results have been very promising, but there is still much work to do. Thank you for checking out my project page and thank you for your support!
