Movement stimulates the brain and helps us stay focused and alert (and awake)! Stability balls are replacing chairs in classrooms all over. The benefits are great. Students who use stability balls benefit from improved posture and increased attentiveness in the classroom. Opposed to leaning back in a chair and growing tired, students are challenged to sit up and be a part of the learning. Their balance is tested and used daily. Students who need to fidget while they focus are given a great outlet! Stability balls provide students a way to wiggle in a controlled manner. In an increasingly challenging academic world, students need a controlled way to move and wiggle while they learn.My classroom is in need of your help to get stability balls for each child. They will have a great outlet for wiggles, a greater ability to stay attentive, and love coming to school!
