When I was 14 I got my first guitar. I didn't know it then, but this simple gift changed my life for the better! I taught myself a few chords, learned to play the blues and played around in a few bands. When I graduated high school, I didn't know what to do, but I knew that I loved music. With some solid advice from family and friends, I began my journey to study music. Music got me through college and into something bigger, teaching. I will forever be grateful for the incredible experiences I gained through studying such a complex and beautiful art form. I am delighted that I now have the chance to bring that amazing gift to my students and I hope that it is as rewarding and impactful to them as it has been to me.

About my class
