Our students come from different communities in New Haven, CT and the surrounding towns. Approximately 75% of our students receive free and reduced price lunch. Our students are energetic, proud, and intelligent. Our amazing students continue to succeed in the face of adversity. I hope to harness the energy of our students into the Panther Garden Club. Students are excited to begin a sustained project to beautify their school campus and grow food to supplement the school cafeteria with healthy, local options. At the same time, it will be an opportunity to learn a new skill and establish a connection with nature. Students are eager to get their hands dirty and reap the benefits of their hard work, all the while becoming active participants in their community.
