Hello, and thank you for taking the time to view my page. I try to approach teaching using the motto of the great philosopher Uncle Ben, "With great power, comes great responsibility." Although I don't spend my evenings web slinging and fighting crime, I do recognize that being a teacher is privilege, and a responsibility. I want to students to leave my classroom not just as better students, but also as better people. Students today are way more tech savvy then we realize, and it's important for teachers to use tools such as tablets, and laptops, to enhance their learning. I try to incorporate technology as much as possible, and many times end up learning cool new things from my students. That's what makes this time so exciting for teaching, and I want to continue to prepare my students to be responsible, prepared, and excited for 21st century learning.
