Chromebooks have given teachers and students alike a digital toolbox of almost unlimited potential. Students can have instant access to digital media sources, 21st century technology training, and digital presentations which are all easily within their reach. I can attest to the pain of growing up without the means to match my peers when it came to visual presentations. With Chromebooks and Google Apps, students now have a level playing field. With access to the tech advances provided by Chromebooks, my students can begin to decrease the achievement gap between our school district and its more affluent neighbors. One of the secrets to my program's success has been to instill a sense of newfound confidence in my students, particularly in areas that they previously felt were out of reach. We need five Chromebooks for our classroom.
