My students are incredible! My research kids amaze me with their ambitious projects, while my chemistry kids tackle stoichiometry without fear. Each year I'm thankful I landed where I did; its a hard job but they make it worthwhile and let me have some fun while I'm at it. Our students consistently keep our school as one of the top in the state, but only through lots of hard work. The students excel inside the classroom and out, taking home top honors at science fairs and academic competitions, and even the occasional sports title. My classroom is a great place to learn. With separate spaces for desk work and lab space I have plenty of room. Thanks to some hardworking grant writers at our school I have a laptop cart available so we can work on 21st century skills. Its not perfect, but in the world of education its not too far from it.
