My students can be described as typical Junior High School students, they are unsure of their place in the world and the worry about what their friends think. This means that even if they at one time liked reading they do not like it now. My students are reluctant to read and I want to provide them with more opportunities to discover the world around them through books. My students are made up of primarily ELL and low income households. I want to provide these students, my students, with every type of book they can get their hands on so that they can experience the journey a book can provide, just like anyone else.
