Hello and thank you for visiting my page! I am in my ninth year of teaching elementary grade students and believe that all students can be successful in the classroom, as well as in life. It is my goal to engage all students to think deeply, creatively and independently and strive to be life-long learners. I believe in order to prepare our youth for today's global economy, deep critical thinking, academic discourse and technology integration are key aspects in students' academic studies. Therefore it is my goal to incorporate numerous technological resources into my classroom. For the first time this year, my classroom is a 1 to 1 student computer ratio. On a daily basis, students are interacting with digital texts, google doc organizers and access all classroom assignments through Google Classroom. It is my continuing goal to increase the variety of apps and software programs students interact with on their device.
