Hello! I am a lead teacher and oversee alternative school day to day processes: I recently began working with a consultant to change the image and branding of the alternative school. I found a wonderful idea to take the classrooms to another level to ease the social-emotional stress of students and increase academic and behavior progress. needing is the technology extension. I have worked withe administrators to help find alternative results to help students before being admitted to alternative school placement but some instances require placement. As a part of the restorative discipline process I want to create this sensory room as an incentive to build confidence and reassure the students they can improve from whatever mistakes they may have made. This room I am hoping will allow them space to be kids...
