Studies have shown that students learn through working socially and collaboratively. Discussing and sharing thoughts and ideas is a helpful strategy in order to bridge learning. The whiteboard table is a big scale median that would allow room for teams to explore and expand ideas in a clear visual way. Mega-companies like Google and Apple have work campus' that demonstrate the functionality of write-on tables. A great motivator for students is to show them the world outside of the classroom. It's powerful to share the fact that well-known successful companies are using the same types of tools to design future products. It opens their eyes to the possibilities of their future.
