My students come together in small collaborative groups daily, during both math and literacy instruction. These small group interactions encourage peer to peer learning. The table I am requesting will allow for this small group learning to continue to occur with direct teacher instruction incorporated. Currently we are meeting at a table too large for small group instruction. Students are easily distracted and too far from one another. By donating to this project you will increase student focus and productivity, leading to higher student achievement. Students will be close enough during small group instruction to effectively communicate with one another and myself.
