Math and Science go hand and hand. Many students are struggling with the geometry of math and thus making it hard for them to understand genetic coding and even simpler, distance and percent to whole connectedness. Introducing spheros and coding will give students a different way to engage and see the content that we are learning. I believe spheros will cause my heros to rise up and be engaged in mathematical practices through the lens of STEM based inquiry. Adding this technology will increase rigor, foster student-centered learning and build relationships by working together to obtain a common goal. My students will also engage in coding and reflection of 21st century skills while learning math and science.
