My students are learning to set goals for academic and college/career readiness. The students will use the Kindle Fire 7s to create projects, research colleges, and explore pathways to careers. Our class curriculum encompasses all components of preparing our students for their future. As a product of the students using the technology in the classroom, they will be more capable of finding their "dream jobs" and how they can get there. Also once they find out how to get to their career, with college being a big factor, they can decide what kind of college, and where they would like to go considering not many get to go out of state. They can set goals for their plans on saving money, or how to increase their grades to be able to go to these colleges with minimal effort after high school. In order to protect this investment of technology, I have also ordered cases because we all know that accidents happen.
