Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make a choice that works best for them. During independent work times, they choose a location in the classroom that allows them to take advantage of that choice. Currently, my students are able to have different seating through the use of a few office chairs and a couple of exercise balls that are within the classroom. They are able sit at different tables, under tables, and around the room using beanbags during independent time. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them to partake in their own learning. I have already noticed a difference in my students when I incorporated different seating during their choice times. When they are given a choice in their seating, they are more engaged and get more work completed then when they are just sitting at their desks.
My students will be more engaged in their work and less disruptive to their peers when they are given the choice of where to work. The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices. The wobble stools will give students seating options at their desks while allowing for some movement. The floor seats will open up the floor for seating options. They are lightweight and can be easily used in many areas of the classroom. The risers will give choice to a couple of standing tables for those who don't want to sit.
I have seen how choice seating can positively affect students' work and demeanor. By giving these additional options, it will help us grow even
