Too often do post-secondary conversations with students include in-state PWIs (Predominantly White Institutions), city colleges, and the Armed Forces. How do we help our students understand that their options are "unlimited" if they can only see past state lines, color lines, and explore their untapped potential? The Golda Meir HBCU Tour is life-changing for all students who attend. We will not only visit prestigious institutions of learning, but we will also walk the ancestral footprints of those who fought for the right of young African-Americans to even consider enrolling in such institutions. A history experience combined with a college excursion! The funds raised from this project will go towards creating the humbling experiences for my students. I thank you in advance for helping my young people get one step closer to writing their own history on this tour!
