Reading remains one of the most powerful predictors for student success. I want to build a class library that will give my students ready access to great books. Many of the books I have chosen have engaged even my most reluctant readers. The books chosen for my library appeal to students with a wide variety of interests from science fiction, to sports, to fantasy; this library has something for every student. Every book series selected for my library has been read and recommended by former students. My book library will play a vital role in creating and maintaining a readers' culture in my classroom and my school.
