I have specifically chosen tables and chairs so the students in my classroom can collaborate with each other during partner or group work more effectively and feel comfortable. The tables and chairs will help create a respectful and safe environment in the classroom. Right now, the students are sitting in desk that are almost 50-60 years old and are falling apart. The students have a hard time getting in and out of the desks because the chairs are attached to the desk. I would like the students in my classroom to feel comfortable in so they can worry about learning the curriculum instead of worrying about the comfort of the desks.

About my class
