The achievement gap is a literacy gap! Students who struggle at reading often times have little to no reading materials at home. The average student will enter middle school close to half a million words below their peers who have access to books and magazines at home. Help my students bridge the literacy gap by giving them access to pleasure reading materials as well as non-fiction magazines time TIME For Kids! For many of my students this is the first time they will own a book of their own. Give them the tools to build tomorrow. We can make magic!
