The materials selected to support our "Yellow Jacket Cafe" are all essential items for preparing, serving, and maintaining food in a restaurant setting. We will be serving food both for dine-in customers, as well as customers who need to eat on the go. For that reason, we will have plates, silverware, and placemats for dining in, but also to-go containers for those professionals and community members who need to eat on-the-run. We do not just want to be serving ourselves on these cafe days, but we want to serve the community that serves us on a day-to-day basis. Our class takes pride in everything that we do and have a focus on seeing no money or items go to waste. Everything that is being requested is quintessential in the success for our class to learn the necessary life skills required for future success, while also providing something our community can take great pride. We are not aiming for a classroom cafe that meets the minimum standard, we are aiming to set the standard in service, cleanliness, and timeliness.
