Of all the questions my students with complex learning and attention issues ask, none is more telling than "What are we doing next?" This can lead to anxiety and unproductive stress. I want to help my students to take control of their self-awareness and body regulation by allowing them to see all of their upcoming schedule items on a single, wall-mounted screen. Imagine something like a weather station but for daily schedules! The next class happens in exactly 38 minutes. Our upcoming field trip will be (count-down) 4 days from now. The lunch menu for today is potato bar. On it goes until they can see and anticipate the remaining activities in their day.
