At my highschool we are lucky to have a ceramics studio. However, much of our equipment is from the 1960's. This new wheel will give students a chance to see what it is like to work on a wheel that is balanced and level with a reverse option for my left handed students. Creative skills are necessary because the problem solving and perseverance required to become proficient transfers over to other aspects of life and study. The immediate feedback of working on the pottery wheel can inspire and connect with students in a way that other opportunities cannot. Having the right tools for the job can make all of the difference in success or failure. Help me give these students access to the right tools and help to inspire and encourage a new generation of visual artists!
