My students will have the ability to research collaboratively if they are given the appropriate technological tools. Tablets are small and very useful when working in groups. They are easy to use, interactive, and functional. My students will use the technology during their research for classroom projects and writing assignments. Also, the tablets will give them ability to utilized technology in the classroom which is a cornerstone of current educational practices. At my school, we emphasize two major things: writing in the content area and using technology in the classroom. If my students are given the chance to obtain tablets for their classroom they can begin to develop the key components to my school's vision.
