The supplies that I am requesting will help students work in the area of traditional Art which has a rich history and will always be the foundation for Visual Art. Once my students understand the basics of traditional art such as sketch art, painting, sculpture, charcoal art, and multi-media art I can then transition them on to new styles of art. My goal and vision involve evolving the program in order to give students the capability and experience in creating multi-media projects. My vision includes students learning how to create a brand from the ground up. I want students to go from taking pictures to shooting and editing commercials and short films. Finally, I want students to have the experience of creating high-quality graphics and animation that have both digital and physical impact (social media graphics, web graphics, wall graphics, vehicle graphics, etc.). In order to achieve this, I’ll need the resources to do so.
