Having a resource rich classroom library will enhance my students' classroom experience and assist with their research projects. I strive to create a classroom that is a place for my students to become more comfortable with, and enjoy, reading - I read to them, they read in small groups, and they read independently. Every book that is placed in my library is treated with great care, and my students are thankful for the opportunity to read new things. All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind. With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level. They will also be able to choose books that interest them, as well as books to assist them on research projects. The best way to increase literacy is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading.
