In App Creator class, students are introduced to the principles of computer science by building mobile apps. Students need to be creative and innovative, while they collaboratively design and develop mobile apps for real life-like scenarios. They will be able to build and improve their problem solving skills through the applications in my classroom. By donating to our project, you will help my students gain those skills, as well as helping them increase their academic achievements. They will build apps depending on the needs from different problems and they need to be able to check if their apps are working properly on the tablets before completing them. Students will use incremental approach when they are working on the apps, which they need to test their apps while they are building it. It is important for students to understand what industry ask from them to have. This course will improve their problem solving skills and help them in the future. Students need to be equipped with 21st century skills. Problem solving skills and higher thinking skills are needed in workplaces and students will gain those skills by using MIT App Inventor environment to solve real life scenarios in an App Creator class.
