My students have challenged themselves by taking AP Calculus. Some of those students will be in their Junior year of high school, while most will be seniors. They will use the calculators to have a further understanding of graphs and their different representations. My students will be eager to use the calculators at every single opportunity they receive since they are intrigued by any colored-screen handheld device. Some of my students only know the basics of a scientific calculator. When my students have all the same model of the graphing calculator, it will be easier to teach them the full aspects of a graphing calculator. So that they are ready for the calculator portion of the AP Calculus exam.
