These tools will increase students' ability to gather information, reason with evidence, and communicate their ideas clearly with peers. Students will use the iPad to record, collect phenomena, make slo-mo video observations, and capture evidence that can be used to explain phenomena. The headsets will be used to share ideas with Flipgrid or other digital storytelling software. Additionally, these headsets can help students connect remotely with students stuck at home. The adapter will allow them to use Chromebooks to share presentations with the class quickly. Finally, the handheld mic will enhance group presentations and improve audio quality for hard-of-hearing students. With effective communication being a primary focus in our classroom community, we hope to minimize transition times and maximize the quality of classroom presentations and discussions. These tools will help students practice sharing ideas and solve problems collaboratively in a 21st-century world. The requested items will benefit 70+ students every year and enhance the learning environment for years to come.
