I teach the California History for our three 4th grade classes at our school. Soon we will have a whole chapter about the colonization of California and the Spanish Missions. I plan to do a project in which all the students in our grade create a silhouette of a California mission and set it upon a beautiful California sunset. These requested Crayola colored and regular pencils, crayons, and tape will be great for the students that lack a large amount of art materials so that they might be able to have a piece of art that they will keep for a long time. I know that many schools build missions as a project, I believe that we will have more participation and success if we are able to complete the project in class.
