My students' heights range from 4'2" to 5'3" and many of them have outgrown the desks at the elementary level. I hope to offer them a more comfortable space to enjoy reading and listening to me reading. Students will have a corner in which they can choose to stretch out their legs while they read, or while they listen to me read. Reading in comfort will leave students with a fonder idea of reading and encourage them to be lifelong readers. These students are being challenged with their reading level this year and I hope to keep them motivated and positive when it comes to the challenge they face. As they become lifelong readers they will be college, career and life ready!
