These resources would aid in my instruction on topics covered in 8th grade US History. Students often struggle with the topic of the American Revolution because of all the detail involved and the length of some unites can be lengthy. The Unit that covers our nations independents is the longest one all year. Our text book touches on key point but does not go in enough depth for my students to get a real good understanding of the content. my students would really enjoy reading the graphic novels on the revolution and aid in their understanding in a fun way. These resources would be used to help focus on small group instruction in my history classroom. Students would also use the Students history of the United states as and resources to help them understand different topics that we cover over the course of the year in addition to the resources I currently use in the classroom.
