My students are excited about technology in the classroom, but they also love to share their mathematical findings with other students. Through the implementation of an iPad and Apple Pencil in my classroom, students will be able to share their thinking and share their learning with their fellow students on the large screen in my classroom. This will flip my classroom, allowing for students to learn from one another, rather than learning solely from me, their teacher. I believe that middle school students learn best from discovery of a newly found idea, while also learning from other students and with other students. Having this equipment in my classroom would be a huge benefit to all my students, empowering them to learn more than they thought they could have before.
