Our scholars will be learning about the world and the experiences of others. This book will help our scholars to understand from a first hand perspective the challenges three adolescents face in search of refuge. Students will examine how time and place affect ones perspective and put into context what it means to live through extreme challenges. Additionally, this novel will allow our scholars to consider how their decisions impact humankind and how these decisions may result in life altering challenges. We would love the opportunity to study this novel with our scholars and share a global text that will open their eyes to the world behind and around them.
