There's no career better than teaching and finding Donors Choose a few years ago has made me feel I have support out there! Every year I'm blessed with a new group of students. Well this year, my fifth graders are having a difficult time finding texts they enjoy reading. That's why this year my initiative has been to incoporate a periodical section and a graphic novel bin to our class library. I've also been getting the newspaper regularly to give them alternative reading choices. I have two projects waiting for funding at this time: A Graphic [Novel] Idea! and Rack and Roll! The materials I'm asking for are a rack for the periodicals and a bin full of graphic novels. I already told my students about the two new projects and they are excitedly waiting for someone to make a donation. This whole process teaches them that people are kind and truly care about their education.
