Our school is composed of an extremely diverse group of students from all ethnicities and socioeconomic statuses. We are a Title I school based on our demographics and often struggle with funding issues. Our teachers and support staff do an amazing job of being creative to find ways to meet the needs of our students but sometimes we have to ask for help! Our kids are such amazing students who deserve the best that we can give them, and being able to fully fund this project will help us achieve that goal. We have a small school with only 2 sections of each grade level so we have a unique culture that resembles that of a family unit. Because of this special close-knit culture, we feel an extreme burden to meet all needs of each and every child, especially the needs that deal with social and emotional development which directly impacts their character, behavior, academics, and success!
