The write and wipe boards will help students learn to write their letters, numbers, their name, and eventually words and sentences. Using these write and wipe boards will help save paper as well!
The donations to this project will enhance students learning whether we are physically in school or learning remotely from home.
The pencil grips will help my students learn to hold their pencil the correct way and will help them with their handwriting.
The double-sided counters will be a great resource, especially if we are learning remotely. Students will be able to use them in many ways during math, and I will be able to give each student a container of these to use at home. The craft containers will help to keep these counters organized whether we use them at school or at home.
The word building tiles will help students learn to spell word wall words and other words. The students will each have their own set of word tiles. They can use these if we do remote learning or if we are in the classroom (so we won’t have to clean in between each use).
We also use dominos a lot throughout the year in math, so having extra of these will be helpful as well to keep students safe and healthy.
The paint cups and paintbrushes will help students to be creative and also keep them safe/healthy. The paint brushes we have now are wooden and peeling; these would not be easy to disinfect. The plastic brushes will be easy to clean after students use them. Our current paint cups are in bad shape and hard to open and close. The new paint cups will be easy to open/close and also easier to clean. These supplies will help us get through this challenging year!
