This is my second year teaching art at Gaffney Middle School. I am so happy that GMS chose me to be part of their school family. As a resident of Cherokee County and a past student of Gaffney Middle School, I know first hand how amazing GMS and all its teachers are! My years at Gaffney Middle helped me to discover and develop my passion for art. My goal is to give back to the students of GMS by instilling in them the same passion for Art. I strive to invigorate my students' learning experience. I teach them to learn about themselves and explore their creativity. Students are pushed to develop their own artistic style, to try new things, and to not be afraid to take risks. Mistakes are made, but some we find worth keeping. In our classroom we take risks, we fail, but more importantly we succeed!

About my class
