I chose Chromebooks as my project because they provide the most cost efficient opportunity for my students to experience the technological advancements that our world thrives on. As a majority of my students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds, the walls of our classroom are just that, walls that entrap their learning opportunities. Many of their experiences stem straight from what we can provide them at school. I truly believe that incorporating Chromebooks into their everyday learning will give my students the chance to broaden their horizons across all dimensions of learning and experience things they would not otherwise. My goal is to utilize the technology so that my students can see further and dream bigger than the small community we live in.
