The whiteboard will be the spring board of our day where students will respond to thought-provoking writing prompts to help everyone learn more about each other. Some prompts will be silly and fun and some will be serious, but all of them will provide a window into who each one of us are, helping to create a community where students are comfortable enough to put vulnerability aside and learn to their greatest potential. Not only will the whiteboard help to create classroom community, it will also be used to model skills throughout the day. If students are required to learn virtually, the board will allow me to provide live lessons on a surface that is large enough for all students to see from their device.
