This will be my 7th year in teaching kindergarten and one thing I've learned that giving choice in seating is essential. Their learning is directly proportional to being comfortable. Imagine where you like to do most of your work? Would you rather be in a stiff wooden desk, OR a comfortable bean bag? I think we know the answer to this. I want to provide my little learners the best variety of choices for example wobble chairs, yoga balls, or just a cushion to sit on the floor. I truly think we will exponentially see the results in this simple yet effective approach to teaching. You can help me in this and build a more solid foundation of comfortable learning in my classroom.
