Our students will use these manipulatives and games to explore and master essential math skills by practicing with these games and using these manipulatives during Math Workshop, Math Investigation, and WIN times. Students will be able to practice number sense and operations and a variety of other math skills. Foam dice is one manipulatve students can use to practice math facts and allow teachers to teach place value. Dominoes are another manipulative students can use to play a variety of math games to build an understanding of math skills and concepts. Mathematicians will be the result of your generous donation to our project. Our students will enjoy spending time in Math utilizing these games and manipulatives being able to gain a deeper understanding of number sense. Students will be able to learn how to problem solve playing games in a variety of ways and learn how to choose the best strategy for the problem at hand.
