Wobble chairs can provide movement while seated, that will benefit my students in the form of sensory input and allow for better concentration and focus. It is difficult for many of them to perform a task that may seem so simple to others (not on the spectrum), such as sitting still while working quietly. This also helps students who learn kinesthetically, as many individuals with Autism do. As such, these chairs can support proper posture, and assist in developing core strength. By providing more opportunities for movement incorporated into their academics, my students will benefit by experiencing more meaningful learning opportunities.
